Ocean Rush — Privacy Policy

Ocean Rush ("the app", "we") is an arcade fishing game developed by Val Bressi.
This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it is used.
Information We Collect
- Leaderboard entries — the app creates local player profiles consisting of a
display name you choose and a randomly generated player identifier (a random code that is not
derived from you or your device). When you finish a game, your display name, best score and level
are stored with that random identifier so they can be shown on the global leaderboard.
Display names are checked automatically to block profanity and personal information.
- Online races — if you play online, the nickname you chose and your live score
are shared with the other players in your room for the duration of the race.
- Donation t-shirt fulfillment — if you choose to support the developer with a
donation and request a t-shirt, we collect your name, email address, and shipping address
solely to fulfill that request.
Advertising
- Ocean Rush shows ads through Google AdMob (an optional rewarded ad for a
second chance, and occasional interstitial ads between levels).
- Google may collect device information such as the advertising ID to serve and measure ads,
as described in Google's Privacy Policy and
AdMob's data practices.
- Supporters who donate $5 or more receive an ad-free experience — the app then
stops requesting ads entirely.
- We do not run our own analytics or tracking SDKs.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell any personal information to third parties.
- We do not require an account, email, or phone number to play.
- We do not collect location data, contacts, or photos.
How Your Data Is Used
Data is used only to provide game features (leaderboards, online multiplayer rooms),
to show ads as described above, and to fulfill donation rewards. In-app purchases are processed
by Google Play / Apple — we never see or store your payment details.
Data Retention & Deletion
Leaderboard entries remain until removed. To request deletion of your leaderboard entry
or donation details, email us and we will remove them promptly.
Children
Ocean Rush is suitable for all ages. The app does not require an account and does not
knowingly collect personal information from children — the only player-provided data is an
optional display name, which is automatically filtered to block real names, contact details
and inappropriate content.
